well, amigos, it´s been an eventful, clumsy few days here in the mountains. i was going to try to write about it, but if you will check out my most recent pictures (http://picasaweb.google.com/ellen.bucy), you will see why typing is a bit laborious today. happy vday to me;)
not to worry. i am not so easily taken down! but si, i have fractured my arm. the dr says only 2 weeks in this charming cast - so not sure how this is or is not going to change my plans (ie, whether i will attempt the next week of classes without my writing arm). will take it easy this weekend and figure out next steps, but the blog may suffer. i feel like the guy in the diving bell and the butterfly - if only i had someone to type for me. i may work on the telling of this story over the next few days - because it´s a good one and i don´t want to forget - but it may take awhile. i put some captions on the photos and that´s about all me and my left hand can muster today.
i will go ahead and say that i went down having a grand ole time. well worth a trip to the hospital.

i wish i could fly down there and nurse you back to health, but judging from the pictures-it seems as though you are having a blast and don't need any rescuing.
